Meet Our Experienced Staff

Bret Haymore, M.D.


Breathe America is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Bret Haymore as Medical Director for the Tulsa facility. Dr. Haymore is a specialist in the evaluation and management of patients with allergic disease, asthma and immunologic disorders. He is board certified by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology and enjoys treating both adults and children.

Dr. Haymore completed his medical school training at Penn State Hershey College of Medicine. He served on active duty in the Army for nine years during which time he completed his residency in internal medicine and later a fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. Dr. Haymore completed his active duty service in July 2011 as a Major and Chief of Clinical Services for the Allergy and Immunology Department at Walter Reed. He is the author of numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at numerous national and international conferences.

Dr. Haymore and his wife have 5 children and enjoy many activities together including tennis, fishing, and camping. They are active in their church community and Dr. Haymore is currently a scoutmaster in the Boy Scout program.

Sheila McGuckin, APRN-NPC

Sheila McGuckin joined BreatheAmerica in 2011. She has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the Tulsa market since 1997. Sheila completed both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Oklahoma. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from OU. Sheila is passionate about helping patients improve their lives through treatment and patient education. She is a member of the Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners Organization and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

In her free time Sheila enjoys scrapbooking and she and her husband enjoy deer hunting together as well as wildlife management.

Shelly L. Morgan

Shelly L. Morgan, PA-C, graduated with distinction from the Physician Assistant program at the University of Oklahoma in 1994. She moved to the Tulsa area 3 years ago and joined Breathe America in 2012. She previously helped develop and run a pediatric asthma clinic at Reynold's Army Hospital prior to moving to the Tulsa area. Shelly understands the importance of good education for patients and parents for treatment to be a success. She has experience in acute and chronic care.

Shelly enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and gardening.
